We bought the store in June 2026 with the idea of reviving this historic property that had fallen into a state of disrepair. We have visions of this place being a central hub for the community. Not just a place to gather, but a place to feel like you belong. Follow us on our restoration journey.

Updates

  1. The doors are open again

    We opened on August 15, after the store had sat empty since December. The store half is running. The deli half is not, and that is what the rest of this page is about.

  2. We bought the store

    We bought the property in June 2026. The last business here closed in December 2025 and everything was sold off, so we are starting from scratch.

Phase 1: The groundwork

Underway 6 jobs: 2 underway, 4 to do

The work that has to happen before anything else can. Until the septic system is replaced, we cannot serve anything the health department regulates.

  • Replace the septic system

    It comes first. The deli and espresso both depend on it.

  • Rebuild the outbuilding

    Into a workshop and a mailroom.

  • Replace the rotten siding

Rentals

Planned 5 jobs: 1 on hold, 4 to do

The previous owners sold the boats and everything else, so we are starting from scratch. Rentals wait until the first phase is done. We plan to take bookings online, including from a QR code at the park.
